I finally got around to preparing the seat back for fibreglassing. The first step was to carve and shape a new back layer to replace the old one which needed to be redone due to some changes I had made last year. Then I needed to cut out resseses in this back layer and glue in some wooden blocks. These are for the screws for the button snaps that will be installed later to have something to bite into.

Now it’s time to do some fiberglassing. This time I used 2 part boat epoxy which won’t melt the foam. About twice as expensive but is the right choice.
